I think I'm writing this to me 25 years ago. Really pleased with the way it came out. I'm not always satisfied with the lyrics I come up with in these songs that have to be written in seven days time, but I am with this one. Gratitude to Jerry Chapman for playing some acoustic after I injured the ring finger on my left hand.

Loneliness, a burden to bear

Playing both lead and audience
In a solitary show

Longing for the dawn

Breaking from the spell
The time has served me well
Leave behind this dark and empty cave

Emotions rage like thunder
