Begin 04:22
He says this is the beginning This is where we stand Captivated by a world that waits on helping hands And what we hold dear is here to stay and remain He says this is now the place From where we will learn to capture and hold grace To give and to discern And from here we slumber and then awake He says this is now the time To hold your neighbor’s hand To search for the rhymes and the reasons of this land And all of this is certain to lift your spirits within I am one, I am peace I am love, full of grace If you let me in, into your soul I’ll fill your heart with something more He says this is where you are You gotta seize the space before you – you’ve traveled so far Let the spirit touch you And feel this love embrace you And feel this love embrace you And feel this love embrace you, right now And feel this love embrace you He says this is the beginning

Lifeline 04:31
I love to see you smile Won't you stay with me a while And we can walk together into another day For once, for this time Won't you tow the other line Ignore my insecurities and throw your cares away You need me And I need you Now, in this time and in this place I can feel your spirit Move, like a rhyme and not a race Lifting me up out of these Blues I've been living with for far too long I'm not that strong, no You're everything to me You can be my lifeline The ship's out of port And the storm that came before Has left a wave of uncertainty in its place You don't like being the one Constantly undone But to try and keep the peace is more than you can take So just let go I'll be there Now, in this time and in this place I can feel your spirit Move, like a rhyme and not a race Lifting you up out of these Blues you've been living with for far too long You're not that strong, no You everything to me I can be your lifeline Now, in this time and in this place I can feel your spirit move..... Now, in this time and in this place We can feel our spirits Move, like a rhyme and not a race Lifting us up out of these Blues we've been living with for far too long We can be strong, oh If you stay here with me If you can be my lifeline I will be your lifeline If you can be my lifeline I will be your lifeline

I've been down this road before I know every twist and turn How to live it up and live out loud How to keep from getting burned I've made a shell around to surround me Protect my insides Cause I don't really like it when others see The truth behind the lies Is there any light in this darkness Illuminate the pain Where there's salvation Where there's love, where there's love Where there's love, oh the love It was all I could hope for It was all that I'd need Someone else to walk and talk with me Bring an end to my lonely misery You were there when the night fell You were there at first light And now I know when I hear the sound of your tears That everything's gonna be alright It's not that the road isn't hard anymore There are burdens still to bear But I don't go it alone Where there's love.... So stay with me and see us both through Cause no one else can show the way like you do They say that grace is like coming back home And the roads lead us there All the journeys, all my trials, I know it's true Where there's love....

Better Off 04:36
Susie leaves at dawn’s light from the greyhound station Taking her far away to unknown destination She’s running from fear cause uncertainty’s here She’s not sure if she fits in his life And when tomorrow comes he’ll find nobody home It’s the pain that keeps her alive Isn’t it better off to love Isn’t it better off to love Isn’t it better off to love There’s an empty chair at the family table It’s where their daughter would be if she only were able It’s been just a year since she told them through tears That she’d given her love to another And they’d love it if she would find solace in he But till then they can’t seem to accept her Isn’t it better off to love Isn’t it better off to love Isn’t it better off to love Sure would be better off to love When the world’s stuck in its madness And we’re pressured to resign You know there’s a better way if we reach a little deeper In time, in time The ring he holds in his hand, it feels heavy like labor The diamond shines in the light, revealing fears that he harbors Cause this step that he takes means he must face his mistakes And try to move on out of "never" But if he trusts in this love that seems sent from above Then his promise can live on forever Isn’t it better off to love Isn’t it better off to love Isn’t it better off to love Sure would be better off to love

I think it's gonna be fine Gonna do it right and take my time Not rush into things& mess 'em up all over again I wanted one more chance Told you I was a victim of circumstance Caught between my head and my heart it wasn't part of the plan Don't you understand Let me tell you that I'm a different man I'm much better.... When the day comes When the wait is gone When all is said and done I'll be there with you When the day comes When you long for closure I'll still be loving you It wasn't always this way I can still remember how you'd say That life is a ride and what's inside carries the load I know I stepped outa line But now I'm making up lost time And I'm not gonna rest till we have found our way home You still aren't so sure You're wondering cause you have been there before But this time it's different When the day comes When the wait is gone When all is said and done I'll be there with you When the day comes When you long for closure I'll still be loving you Don't you understand That I'm a different man I'm much better.... When the day comes When the wait is gone When all is said and done I'll be there with you When the day comes When you long for closure I'll still be loving you

She's high above the world Flying us air Baby in her lap She knows more than she lets on Of what awaits her when She finally touches down Cause there's a man at gate 3 with flowers and a hope that fills his heart It's been two long months since she left town and his world was ripped apart He's hoping there will be a chance to have a new fresh start This time, this time He remembers how it was Back when everything Seemed to go so well They danced the dance so long But when both tried to lead They never made it home You know her daddy told her that timing is the glue that makes it tight Cause two roads have to merge to one for things to work out right And when she saw the road they were dancing down, that's when she took to flight Away, far away Life is what we live before till our demise Between the new hellos and old goodbyes And those we dance with, they will never die Cause everyone's a part of us, everyone's a part of us, everyone's a part of us.... She's high above the world She's down now on the ground She's walking through that gate He hands her the bouquet He reaches for his child He smiles to celebrate

Begin Again 01:22

about

I know it sounds terribly cliché, but this is the album I’ve wanted to make all my life. Not to shortchange the others, but Let Go is the most honest and authentic project I’ve created – musically, sonically, lyrically. Didn’t leave any stone unturned; didn’t want any regrets after everything was said and done.

You know those CDs liner notes that tell you not to make copies of the CD and give it to others? This is NOT one of those. In fact, I want you to make copies. I’m begging you to make copies. I want you to make them and give them out to everyone you know – your best friend, your next door neighbor, your grandma, the guy who sits next to you on the subway every day. Post the download link on Facebook and send it out to every email contact you have. The whole point of this project is for it to be heard by as many people as possible. Thanks for helping to make this happen!
